The Bridges Trust

Partner Feedback

It's nice to get Feedback from our Community Partners

New Meadows Tenants and Residents Association (NEMTRA) value the support which they have received from Meadows Partnership Trust, now The Bridges Community Trust. We have received valued advice on many issues as well as help with design and printing of posters.

As part of last year's NCH 10 Year Anniversary Project we were grateful that the Finance/Admin Officer could help by acting as our Treasurer, handling the finance on the various aspects of the grant. This was particularly helpful on the Memories Project, when we were helped in the printing of the Memories Book.

We also were supported for over two years on a Peoples Health Trust Grant for the "A Meadows Welcome" project, when the Finance/Admin Officer guided us in the handling of a large amount of funding, (£28,000), which we as a small tenants group did not have sufficient experience to handle. She also helped line manage the part- time worker we engaged.

As a Tenants group we listen  to residents' problems and sign post them to organisations who can help them. We are confident that if we point to the One Stop Shop (base for The Bridges Community Trust) they will be listened to and helped in-house or signposted to another organisation.

We are grateful for all the help we receive and feel it gives us confidence to develop in different ways.

A fantastic organisation, accessible friendly staff, Clifton ABC
wouldn't be where we are today without you and your support

Switch UP sees The Bridges Community Trust as a key community lead vehicle in Meadows and Clifton, but also Nottingham City as a whole. We are aware of your strong reputation in all the community support areas, but particularly being a leading provider of
employment support to most vulnerable people in the community.

Switch UP is delighted with the opportunity to develop much closer partnership arrangements with TBCT and build on its strengths. We are particularly excited about the prospect of continuous collocation with TBCT and the development of shared premises at the Bridgeway Hall in Meadows.

TBCT has successfully gone through the transition of its management and was fortunate to secure its stability by appointing Chris Brummitt into the Manager's post. That way TBCT set itself as a strong player to deliver employment and contract management services across the City and that way secure the long-term sustainability and benefit for local people in Meadows and Clifton.
